Tailoring AI Output

Ticketify's core strength is generating structured tickets, but sometimes you need to adjust the output style. The Advanced Settings sliders provide granular control over the AI's generation process.

Understanding the Sliders

  • Formality: Controls the tone of the generated text.

    • Low (Casual): Might use simpler language, contractions, and a more direct tone.
    • High (Formal): Uses professional language, avoids slang or contractions, and adopts a more structured, official tone suitable for formal documentation or executive summaries.
  • Technical Detail: Adjusts the level of technical jargon and specifics.

    • Low (Less Technical): Focuses on the user impact and high-level description, suitable for non-technical stakeholders.
    • High (More Technical): Includes more technical terms, potential code references (if provided in prompt), and implementation details, suitable for developers and QA.
  • Text Volume: Controls the overall length and verbosity of the output.

    • Low (Minimal): Generates concise descriptions, focusing only on essential information.
    • High (Comprehensive): Produces more detailed explanations, potentially elaborating on background or implications.
  • Urgency: Influences the language that conveys priority and time-sensitivity.

    • Low: Uses neutral language without emphasizing urgency or priority.
    • High: Employs language that communicates importance, critical nature, and time-sensitivity.

When to Use Which Setting

  • Reporting a bug to developers? Increase Technical Detail and set appropriate Urgency based on severity.
  • Creating a user story for stakeholders? Adjust Formality to be less technical, focus on user value (implicitly influenced by the prompt and volume).
  • Documenting a quick task for yourself? Lower Text Volume and Formality.
  • Writing an Epic description for planning? Increase Text Volume and adjust Urgency based on business priorities.
